Dog Walking & Hiking

Century Dog Training offers 30-minute dog walking and hiking sessions designed to keep your dog physically and mentally stimulated. Whether it’s a neighborhood stroll or a mountain trail adventure, these outings are safe, enriching, and tailored to your dog’s needs. Reactive or aggressive dogs are welcome, with a training program potentially required prior to ensure safety and success.

More Than Just a Walk

Purposeful Walks with Built-In Training Opportunities

Our walking and hiking sessions aren’t just for exercise—they’re a chance to reinforce leash manners and build better walking behavior. Each session is guided by an experienced trainer who can incorporate leash skill training by request.

Leash Training Support: Help your dog walk calmly and politely on a leash, improving control and confidence.

Consistent Structure: Keep your dog mentally engaged and physically active with regular, structured outings.

Reactive Dog Friendly: Dogs with behavior challenges are welcome; a training plan may be required for safety.

Safe, Scenic Adventures

Secure Transportation and Carefully Chosen Routes

Safety is a top priority on every walk and hike. Dogs are transported using secure seatbelt tie-downs, and hiking routes are chosen based on your location and your dog’s energy level. To ensure your dog’s well-being, flea and tick prevention is highly recommended for hiking sessions.

Secure Transportation: Your dog is safely buckled in during travel to and from hiking locations.

Location-Based Trails: Hikes are selected based on proximity and what’s best suited for your dog’s needs.

Outdoor Readiness: Hikes are tailored to dogs prepared for outdoor conditions; flea and tick protection is recommended.

Personalized to Fit Your Dog

Each Walk or Hike is Tailored to Your Dog’s Needs

Whether your dog is high-energy and loves to hike or prefers a steady walk around the neighborhood, we’ll adapt to meet their needs. These sessions are great for dogs who need exercise, stimulation, or a positive outlet for excess energy.

Custom Activity Levels: Whether your dog needs a calm stroll or an uphill challenge, we adjust accordingly.

Individual Attention: One-on-one attention ensures safety and focus, especially for reactive dogs.

Owner Preferences Welcome: Want leash skills included? Let us know your goals, and we’ll shape the walk to support them.
